Xi Jinping Praises Communist Party's Unprecedented Unity After Removing Everyone Who Disagreed
BEIJING — Chinese President Xi Jinping praised the Communist Party’s unprecedented unity Friday morning, declaring that the party achieved ideological harmony after successfully removing everyone who disagreed with him.
“We have never been more united,” Xi announced to a room of Communist Party officials who were nodding enthusiastically while carefully monitoring how enthusiastically everyone else was nodding.
“For too long, our great party has been plagued by differences of opinion, independent thinking, and people who mistakenly believed I was asking for their input,” Xi continued. “Today, I am proud to announce that those problems have been resolved.”
The announcement followed another round of expulsions from the Communist Party, which officials described as a major victory in the country’s ongoing campaign against corruption, disloyalty, and the unauthorized possession of personal opinions.
