In a tweet that has since gone viral, Musk stated, "Thought about buying Facebook. Seems like a laugh. Might delete later. 😂"

The tech mogul's tweet has sparked widespread speculation and amusement across the internet. Inside sources at SpaceX and Tesla reveal that Musk has been toying with the idea for weeks, seeing it as "the ultimate meme."
